The EL3044 analog input terminal processes signals in the range between 0 and 20 mA. The current is digitized to a resolution of 12 bits and is transmitted (electrically isolated) to the higher-level automation device.
The job of the EL3142 analog input terminal is to supply power to measuring transducers located in the field, and to transmit analog measurement signals with electrical isolation to the automation device.
